Retired Southern Arizona Congressman Jim Kolbe Endorses Juan Ciscomani for Congress

TUCSON – Today, former Southern Arizona Congressman Jim Kolbe announced his endorsement of Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06) for the United States Congress, saying Juan is a trustworthy and inspirational leader who won’t toe party lines; he’ll always put the people of Southern Arizona above partisanship and will serve with integrity.

“I strongly believe that Juan Ciscomani will be a great representative for the people of Southern Arizona in the United States Congress. As a former Congressman, I learned the best public servants lead with purpose. For Juan, he truly cares about our community and will make a difference,” said Congressman Kolbe. “Juan Ciscomani will work hard to put the people of Southern Arizona above partisanship to solve our country’s most pressing issues from lowering costs for hard-working families to supporting increased trade across our southern border to protecting the health and safety of all Southern Arizonans. I’m proud to endorse him.”

Congressman Jim Kolbe represented Southern Arizona in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1985-2007. During his 22 year-tenure, Congressman Kolbe championed bipartisanship, gaining a reputation for putting solutions over partisanship. As Southern Arizona’s Congressman, Jim Kolbe brought tremendous economic growth to Arizona and America.

This latest endorsement adds more momentum to the Ciscomani campaign and further solidifies Juan’s reputation as a collaborative problem-solver dedicated to making a positive impact in his community.

“Congressman Jim Kolbe is a model statesman who has always put service above self. I am honored to be endorsed by an unwavering public servant who has made our state and country more prosperous,” said Juan. “Congressman Kolbe built his life around people, not politics. He exemplified that the messenger matters and as your representative, I will never shrink from the challenges of leading. I will always value collaboration and humility so we can find solutions that help hard-working families."
