BACKGROUND
Juan’s family immigrated to Tucson from Mexico in pursuit of a better opportunity. Juan accredits much of his success to his parents’ determination and courage. Together they overcame the obstacles of integrating into a new society. Juan personally understands the struggle of those seeking a better life for their families in the United States. One of the most prideful days in the Ciscomani family was taking the oath of the United States Citizenship.
FAMILY
Juan and Laura have been married since June 2007. They met after graduating from college during a Congressional fellowship program in Washington, DC. Just one month after they met, Juan knew that Laura would be his life-long partner. Not wasting a minute, he asked her to be his girlfriend and future wife. Laura accepted and they have been inseparable since then. Today, Juan and Laura eagerly await their first child, who they expect to welcome into this world on Election Day! Juan is the eldest of three children. His parents Juan and Gloria and sister Alessandra reside in Tucson, while his youngest sister Rossana is attending college in Texas.

After graduating from Rincon High School, Juan attended Pima Community College where he was elected Student Body President. Upon graduating from Pima, Juan received a full scholarship to the University of Arizona. Juan has also partnered with local credit unions to organize personal finance competitions for middle school and high school students.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Juan grew up in the same church where he continues to serve today, Centro Cristiano Carismático (CCC). From Sunday school teacher to youth mentor, Juan has actively engaged and served his community from a young age.
Juan continued his community involvement while at the University of Arizona. He joined Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) a competitive international organization that focuses on teaching the principles of free enterprise through community service. Juan was elected President of University of Arizona SIFE chapter soon after his involvement. During his leadership term, the team positively impacted thousands of people in communities they served. The tremendous impact of their outreach led them to win several national awards. His involvement in local and international SIFE projects taught Juan the principles of creating economic growth in diverse communities
Juan returned to Tucson with a desire to get involved and spur positive change. Within the past year, he helped initiate the Pima Community College Alumni Association and currently holds a position on the new Alumni Board.
